Every time you focus
your attention on something in your physical realm and let it be the
object of your appreciation, you are on purpose and vibrationally equal
to the things you are appreciating!
So often, however,
we look around and realize how far away we are from the desires we seek;
all we say we want seems to be someone else's. We then convince
ourselves we are so bad off and feel worse for the practice of
appreciation. This
is not appreciation, it is an awareness of lack!
Here is a good
practice until you get the hang of appreciating naturally: Go to a
really expensive store…any kind, but make sure they sell things that you
can’t afford and would really love to posses.
Window-shop or go
inside and put your attention on items you love. Before the familiar
feeling of lack wells up, look at this creation with appreciation of its
very existence! Someone created it from their mind…it was a thought in
the mind of a Divine Being, such as yourself!
Appreciate the
beauty, the shape the color, the usefulness of the object of you are
focusing on. Allow your thoughts to only appreciate whatever awesome
thing it is; return from any feeling of lack and focus on the beauty and
other good feelings it evokes within. When you are finished, find
something else and something else and something else, until you get how
appreciation feels and you are feeling a whole lot better!
This is how you
begin to practice appreciation. You can do this any where and any time
you realize you are feeling negative…lack, jealousy, complaining,
feeling better or less than someone else.
The more you
practice, the better it feels the more you want to practice! Your
awareness will start to change; you will see more to appreciate and feel
good on purpose. Experiences become more positive and conditions change
for the better.
It’s like magic,
except you are doing it...you are practicing a Universal Law,
attracting things into your life; deliberately create a life you love to
live!
